Update: Passenger In Fair Condition After Crash

Driver listed in good condition after a crash early this morning.

An accident involving three Holbrook residents early this morning at Exit 13 at the intersection of I-95 and I-495 in Foxboro sent the driver and passenger of one car to Rhode Island Hospital, where conditions on the two were just released this evening.

The accident happened on Route 495 northbound at exit 13 in Foxborough.

Massachusetts State Police are called the crash "serious." A single car roll over into the medium caused 1 person to be ejected and 1 person to be entrapped. The crash involved a 1995 Mercury Sable sedan with a driver and passenger and a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix with a lone occupant. Med-Flight was unable to fly because of the high winds this morning.

Operator Robert W. Benson and passenger, Stacy M. Bowen of the Mercury were transported by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with "substantial non-life threatening injuries.”

The driver of the Pontiac, Paul B. Gunn from Holbrook, was not injured.

The Lifespan Media Relations after hours operator confirmed that Benson is listed in good condition and Bowen is currently listed in fair condition.
