I grew up in Easton, Massachusetts, where I attended Oliver Ames High School. After high school, I spent the next 4 years at Bentley University studying marketing, communications, english and politics. I graduated from Bentley with a bachelors degree in marketing with a political science concentration.

After graduation from Bentley, I went to work right away for several private companies in their communication and social media marketing departments. I also wrote a weekly column for the Boston Examiner, where I reported on the issues facing the Boston community, along with researching how social media is changing the way we communicate with each other.

Communication and social media are a passion of mine, which is why I am so excited about Patch's efforts to reinvigorate community journalism by reporting on the news that is important to you.

When I am not writing, you can find me relaxing with a good book or spending time with my family and friends.

Your Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for you to inject your beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that your beliefs are on the record will cause you to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.

Politics:

I am a political junkie who loves a good debate. Red, white or blue, I enjoy discussing all aspects of our government.

Religion:

To me, religion is a personal thing.

Local Hot-Button Issues:
