Firefighters Respond to Hazardous Materials Situation

Firefighters responded to an unknown chemical burning inside of a bag Sunday night at approximately 8:15 p.m on Borrows Road on Foxborough.

A portion of Borrows Road was briefly shut down as firefighters responded to the hazardous materials emergency call.

Once the area on Borrows Road was secure, firefighters placed a call to a regional hazardous materials team, who then determined that the best action was to remove the substance from the home.
