Personal Best Karate’s “Turkey Brigade Packaging” in action!

Personal Best Karate’s 16th annual Turkey Brigade on Saturday, November 19th at 1 p.m.  It is being held at St. Mary’s School gymnasium, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) in Mansfield. An opening ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. and then the packaging will begin.

There is a record number of local families in need this year. As part of Personal Best Karate’s Community Outreach Program and core values curriculum, more than 2,700 Thanksgiving baskets will be assembled by over 300 Personal Best Karate students and their families. St. Mary’s gymnasium will become a Turkey Brigade conveyor belt as children walk through the maze of stations placing a turkey, stuffing, corn, carrots, baked potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans and dessert into the enormous baskets.  The dinner fixings will be given to community members in need of a helping hand this Thanksgiving.
