Foxborough on Edge, NFL Lockout Back On

Lockout to resume after appeals court grants stay of ruling.

The town of Foxborough has found itself once again "locked out." 

According to the NFL.com, a three-judge panel on the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided to grant the NFL's request for a temporary stay on the injunction to lift the lockout today, April 29. The stay gives the NFL the ability to re-impose lockout conditions on the players.

Earlier this week, Judge Susan Nelson ruled in favor of the player's association to end the league-imposed lockout.

In the case that there is no football next season, the town of Foxborough would be left in a financial dilemma.

Town Manager, Kevin Paicos, addressed the issue back in March.

"If there was to be no football next season, Foxborough would be in serious financial trouble," said Paicos.
