Rotary Club of Foxboro to Make Town Donation

Club has committed $10,000 to a project in Foxboro.

The Foxboro Rotary Club wants to hear from the community.

In honor of 40 years of service to the Foxboro community, the Foxboro Rotary Club is going to spend $10,000 on a project in Foxboro.

The Rotary Club wants to hear from Foxboro residents on what project could benefit from this donation in town. According to Rotary Club President Lewis Gordon, "the ideal project would provide a long lasting benefits to residents of the community."

The Foxboro Rotary Club Rotary has previously donated funds and time on the local level as well as the international level. The Foxboro Rotary "donates money to many different charities and human service organizations such as Rodman Ride for Kids, YMCA Youth Camps, Kennedy Donvan Center, Friends of Wrentham State School, Foxboro Discretionary Fund, Foxboro Senior Center, Local Athletic Clubs as well as providing scholarships to help assist in furthering education."

Suggestions on potential projects should be submitted to the Rotary Club.
