Grab 'n' Go Kids' Planner: Animal World

If you are looking for a few kid-friendly places and activities, then you have clicked on the right link.  We’ve assembled a weekly calendar with some ideas to keep the kids and the family busy with fun.

We understand that your time is limited, so we have tackled the research for you.  Check back each Thursday for a list of events and activities for the entire family to enjoy locally or within reasonable driving distance.

Where/When: Boyden Library/ Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
Why Go?: Animal expert Matt Gabriel allows your child to see and learn about a variety of animals from around the world.
Pricing: No charge but registration is required.

Family Owl Prowl 
Where/When: Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary/ Friday 6:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Fun evening to learn about owls and their habitats. Following the hike, come in and warm up by the woodstove with hot cocoa!
Pricing: Adult: $8.00 member/$10.00 non member. Children: $4.00 member/$6.00 non member

Where/When: Orpheum Theatre/ Thursday 10:30 a.m.
Why Go?: While it is cold outside, warm up inside with help from Nemo. "Finding Nemo" is fun film that the whole family can enjoy!
Pricing: Tickets are $6 for children and $8 for adults.

Where/When: Patriot Place, Showcase Cinema De Lux/ Feb. 24 - Feb. 27, 12:00 p.m.
Why Go?: A fun movie for families that is in 3D!
Pricing: $7 per person.
