Shopping event at Mansfield Crossing, Wing Off, Memorial Dedication

It’s Friday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Where/When: Friday night lights! Come watch the Warriors kick off their season. 1 Wilson W Whitty Way, N. Attleboro High School, 7:00 p.m.

Where/When: The Hockomock Area YMCA will sponsor its 5th annual Wing Off on Saturday, September 10th at Fusion 5 Sports Bar in Foxboro beginning at 6:30 p.m. from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., it’s all-you-can-eat wings.

When/Where: Open house at Lawton's Family Farm (70 North St) from noon-4. They will have milking demonstrations, cheese sampling and baby calves to pet. It is a great time to learn about milk production and what they do at the farm. There will be milk, meat and cheese available to purchase. They ask that folks leave their own pets at home.

Where/When: McGinty Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on the Foxboro Common. 

Activities will include face painting, live music from three bands, a magic show and lots of great raffles.  Some of the raffle prizes include Revolution tickets, a signed photo of former Patriot Tedy Bruschi and an autographed baseball from Red Sox Jacoby Ellsbury. Kicking off the day's activities will be special guest and Foxboro resident Maria Stephanos from FOX 25 TV.

Where/When: The dedication ceremony of the new September 11th Memorial begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Foxborough Public Safety Building. The public is invited to attend.

Where/When: The Foxboro Jaycees are inviting residents "to a quiet candlelight memorial to remember those we lost on September 11, 2001." Sunday, September 11, Foxboro Common, 6:00pm-8:00pm rain or shine.
