Foxborough Will Honor Veterans During Memorial Day Observance‎

Foxborough will honor veterans, play for charity this Memorial Day weekend.

May 28. Foxborough Baseball The Foxborough High School varsity baseball team is participating in "Hits for Hope" on Saturday, May 28, at 11:00am at Payson Road in Foxborough. Foxborough will take on Catholic Memorial that day in what will be their final regular season game. "Hits for Hope" is an event that works to raise money for charity. Curt's Pitch for ALS will be the participating charity in this year's "Hits for Hope" event.

May 29. American Post Legion 93 will hold a breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. The public is invited to this event. Stop by and salute our brave men and women veterans. 

May 30. The public is invited to join the Members of Foxboro American Legion Post 93, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2626, local Scouts and friends in honoring Foxboro's deceased veterans. At 7:00am services for Foxborough's Fallen veterans will be held at Rock Hill Cemetery followed by services at St. Mary's Cemetery and other cemeteries in town. The annual Memorial Day parade will begin at the Legion on Mechanic Street at 8:45 a.m. The parade will end at the Common. Ceremonies on the Common will follow the parade with several speakers. Veterans Service Officer Michael Johns will be the keynote speaker.
