Five Things: Oct. 14: Football and Halloween Events

Friday night football, "Lights Out" event, Steve Jobs Day and more!

*A small group of fans have declared Oct. 14 "Steve Jobs Day" from 7 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Steve Jobs Day's invitation asks people to dress like Steve by sporting a black turtleneck and posting photos online. Are you honoring Steve Jobs today? Email Courtney.Jansson@patch.com.

1. 20,000 Leagues LIGHTS OUT, 6 p.m., Patriot Place. Visit 20,000 Leagues any Friday night this October and add a little adventure to your Halloween season!

2. Fall Fun at Patriot Place -- Kidville will hold a FREE bubble show and dance party located in the Kidville gym. This interactive program features musical fun, interactivity and BUBBLES for children ages 2 to 8. Kidville is located between Aeropostale and Five Guys Burgers in the North Retail.

3. Haunted Hollows Performance. The Haunted Hallows performance of "The Piercing Glare" will be held Friday from 7-10 p.m. at 401 Oakland St., Mansfield. Tickets are $10 and are available at www.mansfieldhauntedhallows.com.

4. Warrior sportsB JV Soccer @ Canton, 5:00PM G JV Field Hockey vs. Canton, 7:00PM B V Football @ Oliver Ames, 7:00PM B V Soccer @ Canton High School. Girls soccer and field hockey were postponed until Oct. 24.
