Auditions for “A Christmas Carol” Sept. 25

Un-Common Theatre Company and Bay Colony Productions Announce Auditions for "A Christmas Carol"

The Un-Common Theatre Company will begin their 32nd season with “A Christmas Carol”, a fun and lively musical adaptation of Dickens’ classic novella.  This production, directed by Michael La Fleur, is Un-Common’s fourth collaboration with Bay Colony Productions.  The show will be performed at the Orpheum Theatre Foxboro on Dec. 2-4 and Dec. 9-11 with rehearsals on Sunday afternoons and two weekday evenings. 

Auditions will be held at The Orpheum Theatre, 1 School Street, Foxboro, MA on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 from 1pm – 5 pm.  Children in grades 2 – 12 and adults are welcome to audition.  Call backs will be held at 5:30 pm the same day and location.  To make an appointment email uncommontheatre@verizon.net or call the audition line (508) 698-3098.  Please provide your name, grade, age, e-mail address and telephone number.  A representative from The Un-Common Theatre Company will contact you with an appointment time and more information.

Auditioners are asked to prepare 16 bars of music from a Broadway show that demonstrates the best of their vocal ability.  Suggested songs include songs written by Alan Menken (“Little Mermaid”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Sister Act”, “Aladdin”, etc.)  Please visit www.uncommontheatre.org for more information.
