Hernandez Indicted by Grand Jury, Case Moves to Superior Court

Aaron Hernandez will now face trial in Suffolk County Superior Court in Fall River after a grand jury indicted the former football player on six charges.

In court, Hernandez will face charges of first degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a rifle, unlawful possession of a large capacity weapon with a feed device, and two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition.

Hernandez was suppose to face a probable cause hearing today at Attleboro District Court but due to the indictment, the case has been moved up to superior court.

Hernandez will be in superior court on Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. for his formal arraignment.
