Who is Foxborough's Person of the Year?

TIME magazine named President Obama its person of the year for the second time. Tell us who you think should win from our town!

On Dec. 19, Time magazine named President Obama as this year's Person of the Year, again! The magazine invited votes on 40 candidates, including the president, Gabby Douglas and Kim Jong Un. Other options included The Mars Rover and the Higgs Boson Particle, Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi, and Apple CEO Tim Cook. But, the president took the title again four years after he first won the award as president-elect in 2008. But who cares about the same-old, same-old? Who is Foxborough’s Person of the Year—the man or woman who, in Timespeak, “most influenced the news this year for better or worse”? Tell us your pick in the comment section below!

Well, good choices all around, guys and girls! But you may have noticed (To update Henry David Thoreau) that today we live in a world of endless distractions and pathetically little contemplative direction. One heck of a price for those 15 minutes of fame. My guess for "person of the year" would be the unrecognizable and anonymous one who did something for someone else that was barely noticed, …   more ›
