This week's poem depicts Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.

This poem was submitted anonymously and is about Mr. Darcy from the famous novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. In the time of Victorian Britain, Men were not easily to smitten. The most disagreeable wretch of his day Was a man named Darcy, far and away. For Mr. Darcy was considered quite vain, His attitude and hubris proved plain. Although great of intellect considered he, He acted completely devoid of humility. As Darcy delights as one of the handsomest man in the land, It’s a surprise even Mrs. Bennett said “I quite detest the man”. Women did not matter to him, He dismissed them all on a mere whim. Until Lizzy appeared in his life, He suddenly knew who would be his wife. Trying to connect with his inner self, Darcy toiled. …
