The following is a summary of police activity and incidents reported from the Jan. 13 and Jan. 20 New England Patriots NFL playoff games at Gillette Stadium, as reported in Foxborough's police logs.
While the New England Patriots most recent playoff run ended in disappointment it did bring the two largest and most well behaved crowds of the 2012-13 season to Foxborough, according to Police Chief Edward O’Leary. “Crowd behavior [during the Patriots playoff games] was exceptional,” O’Leary said. “Things went very well.” In the Jan. 13 AFC Divisional Round game at Gillette Stadium, police reported 44 protective custodies and seven arrests out of a crowd of 68,756.
