Patriots Cheerleaders Announce 2013 Squad

Foxborough resident and New England Patriots cheerleader finalist Lauren Morahan didn't make the final cut for the 25-member squad.

After a six-week audition process, the New England Patriots Cheerleaders have chosen their squad for the 2013 season. But Foxborough resident Lauren Morahan won’t be one of them. Morahan, 25, was among the 36 finalists to participate in the annual Patriots Cheerleaders Boot Camp – the final phase of the audition process. Morahan graduated from Foxborough High School in 2005 and has worked as a Boston Bruins Ice Girl. Morahan made it through the preliminary auditions in March when approximately 320 applications were submitted at open auditions, among the highest turnouts in team history. Foxborough Resident Lauren Morahan is a Finalist for 2013 New England Patriots Cheerleader Squad

Morahan is one of 36 finalists participating in the annual Patriots Cheerleaders Boot Camp. Twenty-four women will be selected to the 2013 squad following the boot camp.

The New England Patriots Cheerleaders kicked off the annual Patriots Cheerleaders Boot Camp Wednesday night, the final step in the month-long process to select the 2013 squad, with one of Foxborough's own. Foxborough resident Lauren Morahan, 25, is among the 36 finalists participating in the annual Patriots Cheerleaders Boot Camp. Morahan graduated from Foxborough High School in 2005 and has worked as a Boston Bruins Ice Girl. PHOTOS: Over 200 Participants Try Out for New England Patriots Cheerleaders

2013 New England Patriots Cheerleaders squad will consist of 24-30 women. Final auditions will be held on March 16.

Over 200 participants arrived at the Dana Farber Field House in Foxborough Saturday morning with aspirations of becoming a New England Patriots cheerleader. After last weekend’s preliminary round of auditions, the field has been narrowed to 65, who will participate in final auditions on Saturday, March 16. Of those 65, the best 24-30 will be named to the 2013 squad. Candidates performed two designated routines and a freestyle combination. The participants were judged on dance ability, showmanship, overall appearance and level of physical fitness. The more than 200 participants were part of an overall candidate pool of approximately 320 women, which includes non-performing promotional models and the current Patriots cheerleading squad. View…

Patriots Cheerleaders Holding Open Auditions on March 2

Auditions will be held in Gillette Stadium's Dana Farber Field House. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

The New England Patriots cheerleaders will hold an open audition for the 2013 squad on Saturday, March 2.   Women who are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED are invited to audition. The auditions will take place in Gillette Stadium’s Dana Farber Field House. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Candidates will perform two designated routines and a freestyle combination. They will be judged on dance ability, showmanship, overall appearance and level of physical fitness. Judges will narrow the field to up to 65 participants to be invited back for final auditions on Saturday, March 16. Dunkin' Donuts Teams Up with American Red Cross to Celebrate Blood Donor Month at Patriot Place

Dunkin' Donuts and the American Red Cross teamed up for the sixth annual "Give a Pint, Get a Pound" campaign last week at Patriot Place, collecting 63 units of blood, which will save up to 189 lives.

Nearly 100 people joined Dunkin’ Donuts and the American Red Cross at Patriot Place on Jan. 3 to celebrate Blood Donor Month by giving a pint of blood in exchange for a pound of coffee. The American Red Cross was able to collect 63 units of blood during the “Give a Pint, Get a Pound” event inside the Patriot Place Activity Center, which will help save up to 189 lives, according to Donna M. Morrissey, Director of Communications for the American Red Cross Blood Services – Northeast Division. “We are incredibly appreciative of Dunkin’ Donuts for its ongoing dedication to our lifesaving mission through the ‘Give a Pint, Get a Pound’ campaign, which helps the Red Cross raise awareness of the need for blood and continue to meet the daily needs …
