UPDATE: Easton Woman Taken To Hospital After Rollover in Foxborough

The two-vehicle accident occurred at intersection of Central and Spring streets and Judge Warren Drive at 1:48 p.m. Thursday.

A North Easton woman was taken to Norwood Hospital Thursday afternoon to be treated for non life-threatening injuries after her Toyota RAV4 was struck by a Buick and rolled over at the intersection of Central an Spring streets and Judge Warren Drive. "Woman stopped at the intersection, thought she had enough time to get across and evidently she didn’t and contact was made and caused the rollover," said Foxborough Police officer Douglas Miller. The male operator of the Buick that struck the woman's Toyota is from Holbrook. Foxborough Fire and Police responded to a call reporting a rollover accident with entrapment at 1:48 p.m. When Foxborough Fire arrived on scene, the female operator, said to be in her 50s, was "semi-conscious." I go through that intersection at least 4 times a day and I always say that there needs to be a light. I see close calls of accidents almost every day. Although it may not seem like a busy intersection, IT IS! Someone is going to be severely injured or lilled there one day.   more ›

UPDATED: Condition of Boy Struck by Truck Remains Unknown; No Criminal Charges Against Operator

A 12-year-old boy was struck by a landscaping truck near Baker and Chestnut Streets Monday afternoon and his condition remains unknown as of Monday night, according to Foxborough Police. The operator does not face criminal charges from the incident.

UPDATE (Aug. 27, 9:17 p.m.) - The condition of the 12-year-old boy on a bicycle that was struck by a landscaping truck Monday afternoon on Baker Street remains unknown as of Monday night and the operator of the vehicle is not facing criminal charges at this time, according to Foxborough Police. Foxborough Police Sergeant Richard Noonan said in a press release the 12-year-old Foxborough boy (earlier reported as 13 by Foxborough Police Chief Edward O'Leary) "suffered internal injuries and several skin abrasions" from the accident. "Foxborough Fire EMS/Paramedics attended to the child and due to the nature of his injuries, the child was flown to Tufts Medical Center in Boston by MedFlight," according to the press release.
