Foxborough Middle School Students Participate in Exchange City Job Fair
Middle school students experience the real life job hunt.
Foxborough middle school students are finding out early what life is like in the "real world." Over 240 students are participating in this year's Exchange City. Students are given the opportunity to learn how an economy operates, explore their roles as citizens, discover their responsibilities as employees and tax payers, and learn how to manage their personal finances. This is done both in the classroom and on a field visit to Exchange City - a small, fully functional city that is completely run by students. As part of the preparation for the experience, students completed their resumes, explored the Exchange City 'classified' ads, and interviewed for jobs of their choice.
