The Hall at Patriot Place Offering Veterans, Active Military Free Admission this Weekend

CBS Scene will also be offering a complimentary lunch special for veterans/military on Monday, Nov. 12.

Veterans and active military are invited to enjoy a free visit to the Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon over Veterans Day weekend in Foxborough. From Saturday, Nov. 10 through Monday, Nov. 12, The Hall will offer free admission to all veterans and active service men and women. Longtime New England Patriots running back Kevin Faulk is expected to officially announce his retirement from the NFL Tuesday at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. The Patriots have announced they will be holding a press conference to formally announce the retirement of Faulk, a three-time Super Bowl champion, closing the book on a successful 13-year career - all in New England. VIDEO: Thousands Gather in Foxborough to Welcome Troy Brown into Patriots Hall of Fame

Troy Brown became the 19th member of the Patriots Hall of Fame Saturday - celebrating with friends, family, former teammates and thousands of fans.

Troy Brown worked hard and took advantage of every opportunity he was given in the National Football League during his 15-year career. The result was three Super Bowl championships and franchise records in receiving and special teams and defining the “Patriot Way.” On Saturday, Brown was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in front of thousands of fans outside the Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. The ceremony began with an introduction of Patriots alumni from the 1960s, 70s and 80s before several of Brown’s former teammates from the 90s and three Super Bowl teams were introduced. Injured Veterans to Visit Gillette Stadium as Part of Monday's Ride 2 Recovery Minuteman Challenge

Veterans, troops, and supporters to ride bicycles, recumbents and hand cycles through Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. The Patriots and Raytheon will welcome injured veteran cyclists for a USO lunch and a tour of The Hall

More than 200 cyclists, including injured veterans and their supporters, will set off Monday, Sept. 10 on the inaugural Ride 2 Recovery Minuteman Challenge presented by UnitedHealthcare.  On this six-day, 325-mile ride from Quincy, Mass. to New York City, they will ride road bikes, hand cycles, recumbents and tandems – many of which have been modified to accommodate injuries. Cyclists will ride into Patriot Place for a USO lunch and a tour of The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. Kids Can Train Like an Astronaut Thursday at The Hall at Patriot Place

The fitness program for kids will feature NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy on Thursday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Hall at Patriot Place.

The Hall at Patriot Place, presented by Raytheon, will host a “Train Like an Astronaut” fitness program for kids featuring NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy on Thursday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local physical education teachers will run the NASA program, which includes activities like an agility course, a space food and energy station and a hydration station. The program will also include an appearance by NASA Commander Chris Cassidy, a Salem, Mass. native who has logged more than 375 hours in space. His next space flight is scheduled for March 2013. “Train Like an Astronaut” will appeal to kids of all ages, but is ideal for children in grades K-6. Bledsoe and Morris Receive Fan Accolades

A very emotional Jon Morris and Drew Bledsoe spoke to the enormous crowd outside the Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon, during their induction ceremony into the Patriots Hall of Fame on Saturday.

"This is the greatest moment of my life," said a very emotional Jon Morris during his Patriots Hall of Fame induction speech Saturday outside the Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. Drew Bledsoe, also inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame Saturday, mirrored that sentiment, choking up with tears several times during his speech as the droves of fans who showed up shouted, "we love you Drew."  Bledsoe was the first overall selection in the 1993 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.
