UPDATED: Six Teams Crowned MIAA Super Bowl Champions at Gillette Stadium Saturday

Gillette Stadium will once again be the site for six high school Super Bowls Saturday. Here's five things you need to know about Super Saturday.

UPDATE (10 p.m., Dec. 1, 2012) - It was a truly a Super Saturday for the six high school football teams that captured MIAA Super Bowl championships at Gillette Stadium. 12 Teams Punch Tickets to MIAA Super Bowls at Gillette Stadium Saturday

Gillette Stadium to host six MIAA Super Bowls on Saturday, Dec. 1 for the sixth consecutive year.

On Tuesday, 12 high school football teams punched their tickets to Gillette Stadium to participate in one of six Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Super Bowls held in Foxborough Saturday. This weekend will mark the sixth consecutive "Super Saturday" championship event held at Gillette Stadium, giving 12 teams the opportunity to compete for their division’s Super Bowl title on New England’s most famous football field. Three Eastern Mass. divisions, one Central Mass. division and one Western Mass. division will crown their champions at Gillette Stadium. Gillette Stadium Announces Details to MIAA Super Bowl Schedule

Six MIAA Super Bowls will be held at Gillette Stadium on Dec. 1.

Super Saturday returns to Foxborough on Dec. 1 when Gillette Stadium hosts six of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Super Bowls for the sixth consecutive high school football season.   Twelve teams will compete for their division’s Super Bowl title on New England’s most famous football field. Three Eastern Mass. divisions, one Central Mass. division and one Western Mass. division will crown their champions at Gillette Stadium.
