5 Things to Know About Sunday's Patriots Game at Jacksonville Jaguars

The New England Patriots (10-4) travel to Florida to face the 2-12 Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday. Kick-off is 1 p.m.

After two straight primetime games at Gillette Stadium, the New England Patriots will travel to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the last regular-season road game of the year. New England nearly equaled the greatest comeback in NFL history last Sunday night against San Francisco, as only one time in league history has a team rallied to win a regular season game in which it trailed by 28 points. The Patriots faced a 31-3 deficit with 10:21 remaining in the third quarter. The Patriots proceeded to score touchdowns on four straight possessions to tie the game at 31, but San Francisco regained the momentum and held on for a 41-34 win. Can anybody explain why the Sports News Media push the Passer Rating aside for the more accurate QBR, but won't push the QBR aside for the even more accurate DYAR and DVOA? Heard a rumor that it's because the Patriots QB leads in both of these categories by such a large margin that it would give the writers a lack of writing material for MVP.
