American Express founded the day in 2010 to help small businesses get exposure during the holiday season, when they might be otherwise overlooked. Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill Grand Opening Celebration Nov. 30

Ronnie Dunn will headline the grand opening celebration on Nov. 30.

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Patriot Place in Foxborough will celebrate their grand opening with a performance by country music legend Ronnie Dunn on Wednesday, Nov. 30 in partnership with WKLB Country 102.5. Opening acts for the evening are still to be announced. Doors for the event open at 6PM. General admission tickets are currently available for $50 per person which includes passed appetizers as well as a gift bag for each attendee.  VIP tickets are $100 and include a private buffet, premium seating and a gift bag. Business owners share what Small Business Saturday means to them

Black Friday is over and now it's time for small businesses to shine with Small Business Saturday. "We appreciate the huge public relations push that American express has put on this Saturday as small business Saturday, they started this months ago picking a Saturday here or there but we have promoted small business Saturday, every Saturday since it began," said Jack Lank, president of the United Regional Chamber of Commerce, which supports businesses in 16 communities including Attleboro, Foxborough, Mansfield, Norton, Seekonk and Wrentham. Doolittle Home Ranked #1 in the Latest State Satisfaction Survey

The facility was evaluated for quality, safety, administration effectiveness, cleanliness, nursing care, activity programs, protection of resident rights, and food services.


The Doolittle Home recently announced that their retirement community has earned a perfect, deficiency-free survey from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH).

The deficiency –free rating is a result of the State’s rigorous 3 day examination which ended on Oct. 13th, 2011 and is one of the top indicators of excellence for long term care facilities.        The facility was evaluated for quality, safety, administration effectiveness, cleanliness, nursing care, activity programs, protection of resident rights, and food services.
 During the last three years, the department found only 17 out of 431 nursing facilities deficiency-free. With increasingly stringent regulations, achieving the deficiency-free rating is exceedingly …

Holiday Season Kicks Off with Christmas Tree Lighting at Patriot Place

The holiday season kicked off in Foxborough with a tree lighting and roaming carolers.

The Giving Tree benefiting Patriot Place’s charitable partner Cradles to Crayons, shone a bit brighter this past Saturday as members of the UnCommon Theater and Bay Colony Productions came together to get the Foxborough community into the spirit of the season.  Prior to the tree-lighting, Uncommon Theater and Bay Colony Productions members serenaded onlookers and shoppers with Christmas Carols and holiday songs.  Their combined voices were as wonderful as a symphony as onlookers in the crisp evening air enjoyed their serenade, some in the audience even singing along as the performers continued to sing as the tree lit up. Chic 2 Chic Consignment Boutique Moving to Foxborough

Chic 2 Chic, a teen, young adult and women’s consignment shop is moving to Foxborough.

Foxborough center will soon have a new teen, young adult and women’s consignment shop; Chic 2 Chic, currently located in Mansfield, has outgrown their present facility and will be moving to 34 School Street, Foxborough. On Christmas Eve, the doors to the Mansfield location will close and will re-open in Foxborough Jan. 1, 2012. Patch recently visited the Mansfield location and spoke to owner, Janelle Palomba.
