Patriot Place GM Thrilled to Bring Capriotti's Sandwich Shop to New England

Representatives of Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has applied for a new common victuallers license with the town, which will be reviewed by the Board of Selectmen at Tuesday's meeting.

On Tuesday, Foxborough's Board of Selectmen will review the application for a new common victuallers license for Capriotti's Sandwich Shop at Patriot Place. Here were some ideas from the Foxborough Patch Facebook page: Liz Perry: Starbucks! It would be nice to have an option besides Dunkies or Honey Dew. Ashley-Nicole Celaya: Starbucks absolutely. Andrea Brown: Starbucks or a local coffee shop. I don't drink Dunkin Donuts coffee and Honey Dew isn't much better. Colin McGuire: Another gas station near exit 8. I guess technically that might be Sharon, but it is amazing how clustered gas stations are in our town. A M Flaherty Piscitelli: Definitely Starbucks!  Pattiann Hamlin Malynn: Bakery. Tim Burke: A casino. Joe Fiumara: REAL Italian bakery. Rick …

Patch Q&A: Cancer Survivor Loving Life as Small Business Owner in Foxborough

Patch recently caught up with Wrentham resident June Brady-Wooding, the owner/founder of Fanautical at Patriot Place to learn more about her fun-loving/unique clothing store and hear how she overcame a rare form of bone cancer five years ago.

In 2005, Wrentham resident June Brady-Wooding's world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer just eight months after giving birth to her second child. “Through that whole process – a two-year period – I was in bed and it was really intense and I had surgery,” Brady-Wooding said. “It wasn’t a good outlook.” Doctors had little research on the cancer, telling Brady-Wooding only 200 people a year are diagnosed with her form of bone cancer. But despite the bleak outlook, Brady-Wooding overcame the odds and has been cancer free since 2007. “I never thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to die,’” Brady-Wooding said. “I never thought ‘poor me.’ All I thought of was the end gain. The end gain to me was no matter what…
