Will There Be School in Foxborough Friday?

Foxborough Schools Superintendent Debra Spinelli said she will wait until early Friday morning to make a decision on whether or not to close Foxborough Public Schools due to snow in the area.

An ocean storm has brought more snow than originally expected in Foxborough Thursday, causing for a frustrating and messy morning commute throughout the area. Foxborough Regional Charter School Closed Monday

The aftermath of Blizzard 2013 has closed Foxborough Regional Charter School for Monday, Feb. 11.

NOTE: The following message is from Foxborough Regional Charter School Director Dr. Mark Logan: Good afternoon, Due to the conditions on many of the roadways and sidewalks throughout our district, and the expected further concerns for safe travel overnight and through tomorrow, there will be no school on Monday, Feb. 11th. Please know our crew is doing a tremendous, yet difficult job of preparing our campus for the safe return of our students, staff, and parents.  This includes, not only plowing, shoveling, and snow removal, but also a thorough assessment of our roof. UPDATED: Foxborough Public Schools Closed on Friday

Foxborough Public Schools will be closed because of approaching blizzard.

UPDATED at 7:02 p.m. -- Superintendent Debra Spinelli has decided to cancel school on Friday. ORIGINAL STORY -- While many schools across the region have closed in advance of Friday’s snowstorm, Foxborough Public Schools will open for a half day, according to Foxborough Superintendent of Schools Debra Spinelli. “Foxborough Public Schools will be closing early Friday, Feb. 8th due to the incoming snowstorm,” Spinelli said. “Based on current weather projections, light snowfall during the day is expected to amount to about an inch by 2 p.m. with heavier accumulations beginning around 2 p.m. Our early dismissal will help to ensure safe travel home before the snow picks up.” Dismissal times for each school is as follows: Spinelli added that …
