FOXBOROUGH Motor Vehicle Stop in Foxborough Leads Police to Massive Drug Bust A motor vehicle stop on Mechanic Street Thursday turned out to be much more for Foxborough police as officers made a drug trafficking bust after discovering 119 grams of cocaine in the operator’s vehicle. Foxborough Police Sgt. John Chamberlin stopped a vehicle on Mechanic Street earlier in the day Thursday where indicators of criminal activity were present, according to the police department’s Facebook page. “Sgt. Lovers’ Quarrel Reportedly Led to Arrest of Foxborough High School Wrestling Coach A lovers’ quarrel between Foxborough residents James Fraser and his wife is reportedly what led to the high school wrestling coach’s arrest Sunday, according to police reports. Fraser, 45, was arrested Sunday following an alleged altercation with his wife at their Sherman Street home and charged with domestic assault and battery and attempted murder by strangulation. Fraser was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday and released on $2,000 cash bail, according to court documents. It was a scary scene outside Ahern Middle School on Mechanic Street Tuesday morning after a minivan carrying two children collided with a Foxborough school bus transporting four children. The two children in the minivan were transported to area hospitals while the four school children were reported, OK and brought to the Ahern Middle School office. “All four school children on the bus were fine, thank God, and thank God the injured children [from the van] are going to be OK as well,” said Foxborough police officer Dave Foscaldo. The children from the minivan suffered “serious injuries” but none are life threatening, according to Foscaldo. Teen Attempts Brutal Murder, Police Say A 15-year-old Attleboro male was arraigned Thursday in Taunton Juvenile Court for attempted murder and various other charges after he stabbed, attempted to drown and attempted to kill by asphyxiation a 63-year-old female neighbor Wednesday night, Attleboro police reported. The victim was at Rhode Island Hospital as of Thursday, and her injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to the police. Mansfield Selectmen Decide to Euthanize Milo the Dog Mansfield selectmen voted 3-2 to euthanize Milo the dog Wednesday after hearing from both the victim's family and the dog's family. The dog reportedly attacked 6-year-old Christian Hebert on Jan. 3 while at the house of the dog's owner Michael Bailey. Hebert suffered severe injuries to his face, ear area and thigh. After the vote, the Baileys said they would try to appeal the ruling in court. The board heard statements from both sides as well as from Mansfield animal control officers Jeffrey Collins and Steve Simmons. Community Comes Together to Celebrate Life of ‘Mr. Foxborough’ James Davin The town of Foxborough came together on Friday to celebrate the life of longtime resident and father of three, James Davin, who passed away this past October. Hundreds of well-wishers came by Demetri’s Function Hall on Route 1 Foxborough to remember Davin and help support his family. Foxborough-based band Thirty6Red provided entertainment for the night as raffles and prizes were handed out to the many in attendance. Tens of thousands of dollars have been donated in James' memory to help his family in the wake of his death. James was a Foxborough resident for 15 years and served as general counsel for the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department. Read more by clicking …

Two From Mansfield Dead After Drowning in Cancun Two Mansfield women have died after drowning while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico according to WBZ. The two women, identified as Donna Batta and Gail Binmore, travel to Cancun for a vacation last Friday along with two other friends. After one of the friends left Tuesday, the remaining three took a late night dip in the water. The current was too strong for them and North Attleboro resident Lisa Marie Tondreault was the only person to escape the rough waters and strong undertow.
