The scheduled public hearing regarding the Taylor Swift concerts scheduled for Gillette Stadium in July was continued to Dec. 18 at the request of the Kraft Group. Board of Selectmen chair James DeVellis said he received an e-mail from Dan Murphy of the Kraft Group Tuesday evening requesting the public hearing be continued. Selectmen unanimously granted the request. Selectmen Recommend No Action on Article 5 of Special Town Meeting Warrant Selectmen approved a motion to recommend taking no action on Article 5 at the Dec. 11 Special Town Meeting. Foxborough resident Kris Long shared a photo slideshow of her trip to New York and New Jersey as she and other volunteers delivered donations and supplies collected in Foxborough to Hurricane Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey.
Last Saturday, volunteers gathered on Foxborough Common to drop off and collect donations for Hurricane Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey. Those donations filled a 26-foot truck, which was driven to victims to New York and New Jersey by Foxborough resident Bill Long. Bill's wife, Kris, organized the community group, Operation Sandy from Mass. to collect the donations and put together a photo slideshow of the trip to New York and New Jersey. She posted the slideshow on Youtube and shared the link with Foxborough Patch. See the video above for scenes from New York and New Jersey.
