Arrests reported in Foxborough’s police logs from Oct. 25-27.
Thursday, Oct. 25: 9:24 a.m. – A 50-year-old homeless man, Charles P. Suess, was arrested and charged with second offense shoplifting by concealing merchandise at Ocean State Job Lot on Commercial Street. Friday, Oct. 26: 9:10 a.m. – Janet E. Norton, 46 of Garfield Street, Foxborough was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, following too closely and negligent operation of motor vehicle following a motor vehicle accident with injury on Commercial and Fisher streets. Saturday, Oct. 27: 6:10 p.m. – A 17-year-old male from Foxborough was arrested and charged with possession to distribute Class D drug at Rockhill Cemetery on South Street.

This is, indeed, sad, and a scary reflection on our economic society. I would have discreetly pulled the poor man aside and spoken with him--then let him KEEP the merchandise. I would have also offered him a job there!!!!!!!!   more ›
