The following incidents occurred during Sunday’s New England Patriots game against the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium, according to Foxborough Police. The Patriots defeated the rival Jets in overtime, 29-26 to take over sole possession of first place in the AFC East. The New England Patriots host the New York Jets Sunday as the next chapter in this storied rivalry is set to unfold in a pivotal battle for first place in the AFC East. Kick-off is 4:25 p.m. at Gillette Stadium.
After playing four of their first six games on the road, the New England Patriots will return to Foxborough and try to get an edge in the AFC East with a key division game against the rival New York Jets. All four AFC East teams enter this week’s games with 3-3 records. It is the first time since realignment in 2002 that all of the teams in one division are tied for first place in Week 6 of the season or later.
