Motor Vehicle Crash on East Street Sends 2 to Hospital
Injuries are reported to be minor and both parties were transported to Norwood Hospital, according to Foxborough Fire.
Two elderly people were transported to Norwood Hospital Monday afternoon with minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident near 164 East St. Foxborough. “Injuries did not appear to be life threatening,” Foxborough Fire Captain David Healy said. “We had to extricate two parties – one from each vehicle. … They were both conscious and alert and both are being transported to Norwood Hospital for further treatment.” Healy said Foxborough fire received a call for a two-car motor vehicle accident with injuries and airbag deployment around 12:19 p.m. Monday from an off-duty firefighter. “One of our off-duty firefighters was on scene first and reported there was entrapment so we upgraded our response to a full recall,” Healy said.
