American Red Cross Collects 771 Units of Blood in Foxborough

The record number of units collected from last Saturday's blood drive at Gillette Stadium could help up to 2,313 patients in need, according to the American Red Cross.

Foxborough is a town known for its volunteerism and community spirit so it comes as no surprise that last Saturday's "Mega" Blood Drive at Gillette Stadium was an overwhelming success. The American Red Cross collected 771 units of blood in Foxborough last Saturday - the most ever collected in six years of the Gillette Stadium event. Those units, according to the American Red Cross, could help up to 2,313 patients in need. "We are thrilled with the outpouring of support and the 771 lifesaving units we collected," said Donna M.
