Crossroads Veterans’ Services Director Michael Johns said the district will meet Tuesday, April 30th to discuss the future of the district with Easton’s expected departure in June.
On Monday, Easton officials announced the town will be leaving the four-town Crossroads Veterans’ Services District in June and plans to hire its own full-time veterans’ agent. Easton’s decision, according to Crossroads Veterans’ Services District Director Michael Johns, will have no impact on the other three towns – Foxborough, Norton and Mansfield - involved in the district. “Foxborough will continue to serve its veterans, war widows and dependents in a high quality manner, as the town has become used to over the last three years,” Johns said. “[Foxborough] will not be impacted by Easton's decision.” Johns said the Crossroads Veterans’ Services District Board will meet Tuesday, April 30th at 6:15 p.m. in Conference Room 3a/b of Mansfield…

He was given $93.48 back in change. He passed a counterfeit $100. The bill had a watermark of Abraham Lincoln and a five dollar security strip. The bill did pass the marker test. The Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce's Buy Local Saturday will be held this weekend – June 23. The event is part of the Chamber's summer long Buy Local program.
