Selectmen Penalize Foxboro Mandarin, Blue Fin Lounge for Serving Alcohol to Minor

Foxborough's Board of Selectmen issued penalties to Foxboro Mandarin and Blue Fin Lounge for serving alcohol to a minor during a compliance check on Sept. 27

Foxboro Manadrin and the Blue Fin Lounge - located in Bass Pro Shops at Patriot Place - are the most recent establishments to be penalized for serving alcohol to a minor during a Sept. 27 compliance check performed by Foxborough police. Foxborough's Board of Selectmen ruled unanimously at its Nov. 20 meeting to penalize Foxboro Mandarin with the following: Selectmen agreed to suspend Foxboro Mandarin's liquor serving license for just four hours on Dec. 4 because of the establishment's spotless record prior to Sept. 27 and quick actions during the compliance check. Foxborough's Board of Selectmen will hold public hearings for six different local establishments this month to address alleged liquor license violations.

November is going to be a busy month for Foxborough's Board of Selectmen as it plans to hold liquor license violation hearings for six different establishments in town. The six Foxborough businesses allegedly in violation of their liquor licenses are: The first three hearings will be held Monday at Town Hall; beginning with Showcase Live at 7:30 p.m. Hearings with Bar Louie and Foxboro Mandarin will follow. Then on Nov. 20, selectmen will hold hearings for Waxy O'Connor's, CBS Scene and Blue Finn Lounge at Bass Pro Shops.
