John J. Nagorniak was a Foxborough resident, beloved husband, father and grandfather, who passed away on Sept. 7.
Editor's note: The following obituary is courtesy of Roberts & Sons Funeral Home. John Joseph Nagorniak of Foxborough and Kennebunkport, Maine died Sept. 7, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the only child of the late A.O. and Marie (Scheuerle) Nagorniak. John was a graduate of Princeton University and the Sloan School at MIT. He was President of Franklin Portfolio Associates from 1982-2000 and served as CEO for over 20 years. Prior to Franklin, John was Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at State Street Bank and Trust Company.
