VIDEO: A Photo Slideshow of Operation Sandy from Mass' Mission to NY/NJ

Foxborough resident Kris Long shared a photo slideshow of her trip to New York and New Jersey as she and other volunteers delivered donations and supplies collected in Foxborough to Hurricane Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey.

Last Saturday, volunteers gathered on Foxborough Common to drop off and collect donations for Hurricane Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey. Those donations filled a 26-foot truck, which was driven to victims to New York and New Jersey by Foxborough resident Bill Long. Bill's wife, Kris, organized the community group, Operation Sandy from Mass. to collect the donations and put together a photo slideshow of the trip to New York and New Jersey. REMINDER: Operation Sandy from Mass. Collecting Donations Saturday on Foxborough Common

A local group has organized to collect donations for victims of Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey.

A local group of Foxborough volunteers have come together to collect donations for victims of Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey. The group, Operation Sandy from Mass., will have a truck on Foxborough Common collecting donations for those affected by Hurricane Sandy on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The truck will leave Foxborough for New York and New Jersey at 1:30 p.m. The group is looking to collect the following items: Also being accepted for victims of Hurricane Sandy: gift cards to Home Depot, Lowes, Petsmart, Stop & Shop, Sunoco, Gulf, Hess, WalMart and CVS.
