The Foxborough High School girls’ basketball team is back in the Warrior Classic Championship game after cruising to an 85-37 win over Lunenburg Monday night. After leading 19-13 after the first quarter, the Warriors (14-5) rose to another level in the second, outscoring the Knights, 29-5 in the quarter to build a 48-18 halftime lead. Foxborough continued to apply the pressure in the second half – mainly with its second unit – scoring 20 points in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth enroute to the 48-point victory. The win puts Foxborough in the championship game of the Warrior Classic for the second consecutive season.
