Gov. Patrick Names Foxborough Native Chief of Staff
Foxborough native Brendan Ryan, currently serving as Gov. Deval Patrick's Director of Communications, has been appointed Chief of Staff.
Gov. Deval Patrick announced earlier this week that Foxborough native Brendan Ryan, currently Director of Communications, will succeed William “Mo” Cowan as the Governor's Chief of Staff beginning in January 2013. “Brendan is well-prepared for this larger role," Gov. Patrick said. "He has been at my side from the start, is deeply committed to our mission, and has grown tremendously as a leader. As we build on the progress of the last six years, Brendan brings continuity, proven talent, and the deep respect of the whole team. We are in good hands."
