Injured Teen Medflighted from Patriot Place Thursday Night Released from Hospital

The 16-year-old girl suffered undisclosed injuries from a fall while ice skating at Patriot Place's Winter Skate Thursday.

If you thought you heard a helicopter flying low over Foxborough Thursday night you were correct. Here's what happened: A 16-year-old girl was released from the hospital Friday after suffering injuries from an ice skating accident at Patriot Place Thursday night, according to Foxborough Fire Captain Ed Noonan. "[Thursday's incident was a] skating accident," Noonan said. "SGirl fell, striking her head on the ice. Long story short she was released [from the hospital Friday] so nothing of significance." Noonan said Foxborough Fire called Medflight because the injury, while undisclosed, was to the girl's head.
