Several Foxborough High School students participated in the National Anthem for the May 8th New England Revolution game at Gillette Stadium.
Foxborough High School was represented by several sign language students at Gillette Stadium prior to the start of the May 8th MLS match between the New England Revolution and Real Salt Lake. The local students were on the field signing the national anthem during the pre-game ceremonies.
Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots granted NaSeaph Williams, a terminally ill New York boy, the birthday wish of a lifetime Thursday at Gillette Stadium.
The smile on NaSeaph Williams’ face said it all Thursday as the terminally ill boy from Saratoga Springs, N.Y. had his wish to visit his favorite team – the New England Patriots - at Gillette Stadium come true one day before his 11th birthday. Williams, who has a rare genetic disorder, was able to enjoy some time on the Gillette Stadium turf and see a birthday message from the New England Patriots displayed on one of the stadium’s video boards. The message read: “The New England Patriots wish NaSeaph Williams a Happy 11th Birthday.” After his visit on the field, Williams spent some time with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who gave the youngster a gift bag full of Patriots goodies, including an autographed football by Williams’ favorite …

Six college football games will be played at Gillette Stadium this fall.
UMass football is returning to Foxborough this fall for the second year of a three-year commitment to use Gillette Stadium while the Minutemen's new stadium is constructed in Amherst. Foxborough's Board of Selectmen approved the stadium license request at Tuesday's meeting subject to the following conditions: UMass is scheduled to play six home games at Gillette Stadium in 2013, up from five games last season. Games will be held on Saturdays from September to November with the home opener slated for Sept. 7th against Maine. The Minutemen's home schedule for the 2013 season is as follows: Games are scheduled to begin at noon or 3:30 p.m. and anticipated attendance is around 15,000. Former Patriots offensive lineman Matt Light was at Southeastern Regional in Easton Wednesday morning promoting his nonprofit, the Light Foundation. Light took time to mingle with some students and talk about the upcoming cornhole tournament at Gillette Stadium to support his foundation.

The fundraising event will be held Saturday, June 22nd at Gillette Stadium with proceeds being donated to The One Fund.
The METROLEC SWAT team and Gillette Stadium, will host a 26-hour First Responder Workout Marathon to raise money to assist victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, including MBTA Officer Richard Donohue and the family of MIT Officer Sean Collier. All proceeds will be donated to The One Fund. The workout marathon will be held at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, June 22. The workouts will be led by CrossFit & Fitness coaches, kicking off at 2:50 p.m. - the time the first explosion at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Boylston Street - and concluding on Sunday, June 23 at 5 p.m. The event will be open to military and first responders, including police, fire, EMS and hospital emergency staff, all of whom are encouraged to enter teams. …

Youth clinic is free to children in grades 1-8 at the Dana-Farber Field House.
The UMass football team will offer a free Youth Football Clinic on Saturday, April 13 at the Dana-Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium. The clinic will be taught by the UMass football coaching staff and is open to children in grades 1-through-8. The clinic will start at 10:15 a.m. prior to the team's practice at 11:30 a.m. The day will also include an autograph session with the team. One Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support for children and families touched by pediatric cancer, is pleased to welcome back football’s finest, Rob Gronkowski, at their fourth annual Kid’s Cancer Buzz-Off taking place on June 9 at Gillette Stadium. Gronkowski will join hundreds of men, women and children as they “buzz” their heads in solidarity and support for those courageously fighting pediatric cancer, all to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital.
