Bruschi will join Gil Santos as the Patriots Hall of Fame Class of 2013 and will be inducted during a public ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 11th outside The Hall at Patriot Place Presented by Raytheon.

The New England Patriots announced Tuesday former linebacker Tedy Bruschi has been voted by fans as the 19th player and 21st member to enter the Patriots Hall of Fame. Bruschi will join Gil Santos, the Voice of the New England Patriots, at an induction ceremony during training camp that is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 11. The induction ceremony is open to the public and Patriots fans are encouraged to attend. Bruschi will also be honored during a halftime ceremony at the 2013 home opener when the Patriots host the New York Jets on Thursday, Sept. 12. Veteran sportscaster Bob Socci, of Milton, will join Scott Zolak in the booth as the play-by-play broadcaster of the New England Patriots this season on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
For the first time in 21 years, there will be a new voice of the New England Patriots and that voice will be veteran broadcaster Bob Socci. Socci was named the play-by-play broadcaster of the New England Patriots for the 2013 season by 98.5 The Sports Hub this week. Socci will replace legendary broadcaster and 2013 Patriots Hall of Fame inductee, Gil Santos, who served as the voice of the Patriots for 36 seasons. The New England Patriots will honor legendary broadcasters Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti during Sunday's regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium.
For 36 years, New England Patriots fans have known Gil Santos as the voice of the franchise. On Sunday, Santos will call his final regular season game at Gillette Stadium as the legendary radio broadcaster will retire at season's end. To honor Santos and his longtime broadcast partner, Gino "The Duke" Cappelletti - who retired prior to the start of the 2012 season - the New England Patriots have dedicated Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins to the radio tandem and both will be introduced to fans during a pregame ceremony.
