Foxborough Resident Spends Winter Break Volunteering at My Brother’s Keeper in Easton

Foxborough resident Gretta Schaaf recently participated in the 2013 Urban Plunge program, a unique learning initiative offered through My Brother’s Keeper in Easton.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Foxborough resident Gretta Schaaf, a student at Providence College, recently participated in the 2013 Urban Plunge program, a unique learning initiative offered through My Brother’s Keeper (MBK). A non-profit organization located in Easton, MBK delivers food and furniture to families in need. Schaaf, along with four other PC students participated in Urban Plunge from Jan. 8-11. This is the fourth year PC students have attended the program along with students from the University of Notre Dame and Stonehill College. In addition to delivering needed items, students attended prayer services, guest lectures and group reflection.
