Obituary: Remembering Frederick Lewis Haarer Jr.; US Navy Vet and Longtime Foxborough Resident

Frederick Lewis Haarer Jr., 76, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. He was a Foxborough resident for 47 years, a veteran of the US Navy and a retired bus driver for the Foxborough Public Schools.

Editor's note: The following obituary is courtesy of Roberts & Sons Funeral Service. Frederick Lewis Haarer, Jr., age 76, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Born on Aug. 20, 1936 in Millis, he was the son of the late Frederick and Helen (Cheever) Haarer. He attended Boston schools and after graduation served in the United States Navy, where he met his wife, Margaret. The two were married on Aug. 23, 1958 in Washington, D.C. A Foxborough resident for the past 47 years, he was a printer/proofreader for the George H. Dean Company for 40 years. He also was a bus driver for the Foxboro School System for many years.
