What Foxborough Business Were You Sad to See Close in 2012?

With the opening of Trader Joe’s at Patriot Place and the announcement of Jake n Joes and Capriotti's Sandwich Shop coming to Foxborough, 2012 was certainly a busy year for businesses in town. But not all the changes in the Foxborough business landscape this year were positive as several shops and restaurants closed their doors for good or for new locations. Over this past year, Foxborough said goodbye to restaurants like Piccadilly Pub, Main Street shops like Mustard Seeds Antiques and function halls like Christina’s, which has since reopened as Demetri’s. In addition, the economy has changed the business plan for at least one local venue as Showcase Live at Patriot Place announced this year it will no longer book musical acts in …

Christina's for sure. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was warm, and the staff was always accomodating. Demetris will never be able to replace that. Chris and Majorie were the pulse that made it happen, and that can not be replicated. I also miss Stephen as the owner of Mandarian Chef on Mechanic Street.
