The Foxborough boys' basketball team lost to Taunton, 62-54 Friday night at Foxborough High School.
The Foxborough High School boys' basketball team returned to their home court after a successful trip to Florida over winter break to tip off against unbeaten Taunton Friday night. The Warriors entered the contest with a 6-1 record (unbeaten in Massachusetts) and 3-0 in the Hockomock League while Taunton took the court Friday looking to improve a 5-0 overall record (3-0 in the Hock). And that's exactly what the Tigers did in a 62-54 win over Foxborough at FHS. The Warriors (6-2, 3-1) were sluggish to start, digging themselves into a 14-4 hole after the first quarter. But Foxborough's shooters woke up in the second behind four 3-pointers from Tim O'Halloran and outscored Taunton 24-9 in the quarter to go into halftime with a 28-23 lead. …
