Foxborough resident John Newman of Spruce Street is the 45-year-old male operator that was Medflighted to Boston Monday after his Volvo struck a tree, according to police logs.
UPDATE (5:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6) - The 45-year-old man whose motor vehicle struck a tree on Spruce Street Monday night has been identified as Foxborough resident John Newman of Spruce Street, according to police logs. Newman's condition remains unknown Tuesday after he was seriously injured in the one-car crash and Medflighted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Newman's reportedly crashed his 2000 Volvo into a group of trees in the area of 32 Spruce Street just after 7:30 p.m., according to Foxborough Police logs. The vehicle suffered significant damage to the driver’s side, trapping Newman.
