The Foxborough Board of Selectmen and Planning Board will meet in joint session at the Foxborough Town Hall on Thursday, June 28, at 7 p.m. to consider a housing production plan for the town. Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) staff Jennifer Raitt, Chief Housing Planner, and Jennifer Erickson, Regional Planner, have spent over seven months preparing a draft plan for the boards’ consideration. The Foxborough Board of Selectmen will be meeting with National Grid representative at Tuesday night's meeting at town hall at 7 p.m. Selectmen will also be receiving a refund check from Foxborough school business manager Bill Yunka as the high school renovation project is coming in under budget. State Rep. Jay Barrows (R-Mansfield) will also be meeting with the board to talk about the regional wastewater agreement. Another topic on the agenda is the fire department's overtime study.

Residents impacted by the new bylaw to restrict unlicensed parking lot in the Gillette Stadium will have a chance to ask questions and give their input at a June 4 meeting.
Members of the Foxborough Board of Selectmen, police chief Ed O'Leary and building inspector Bill Casbarra will be holding a meeting for those impacted by the change in parking regulations for Gillette Stadium events Monday, June 4, at Ahern School, starting at 6:30 p.m. O'Leary and Casbarra drafted the bylaw, which was referred to as a public safety issue. Town officials are going to discuss protocal since a new bylaw was passed at the recent town meeting prohiting residents in the area of the stadium for charging to park at events at Gillette Stadium that draw more than 15,000 fans. When they met Tuesday night, the Foxborough Board of Selectmen will be discussing their priorities for FY13. The meeting will be at the town hall at 7 p.m. Selectmen will also discuss town counsel review, pavement maintenance management system. remote public board participation, the open meeting law and the board of selectmen's office hours. They are expected to go into executive session to discuss the firefighter contract, hear a firefighter grievance and review executive session minutes.

With the casino out of the picture, the question now remains what will the Kraft Group do with the 200-acre parcel across from Gillette Stadium, according to a report in the Boston Globe. The land has been looked at as a biotechnology park or a place for companies to locate their headquarters, but economic conditions made that unlikely. Foxborough selectmen James DeVellas, the new board chairman, said they were willing to work with the Kraft Group. “We do want to work with them as much as we can,” DeVellis said in the Boston Globe article. “But it has been a difficult year.
