Foxborough Police recently joined the social network to provide an online resource for the community.
You can now find the Foxborough Police Department on Facebook as it recently joined the trend started by many other police departments around the area and across the nation. "With the take off of social media not long ago, most people today are not only active members of these websites, but they have used them as a substitute for how they receive news and information," said Foxborough Police officer Patrick Morrison. The goal of the department's Facebook page, according to Morrison, is to provide a better outlet for the department to send out and receive information to residents and visitors of Foxborough.
