Foxborough High School Athletic Director Caitlin Brown defines a student-athlete as someone who is dedicated, hardworking and passionate.
A student athlete who chooses to don Foxborough's Blue and Gold is often dedicated, hardworking and passionate about their sport, according to FHS Athletic Director Caitlin Brown. The Foxborough boys' basketball team lost to Taunton, 62-54 Friday night at Foxborough High School.
The Foxborough High School boys' basketball team returned to their home court after a successful trip to Florida over winter break to tip off against unbeaten Taunton Friday night. The Warriors entered the contest with a 6-1 record (unbeaten in Massachusetts) and 3-0 in the Hockomock League while Taunton took the court Friday looking to improve a 5-0 overall record (3-0 in the Hock). But Foxborough's shooters woke up in the second behind four 3-pointers from Tim O'Halloran and outscored Taunton 24-9 in the quarter to go into halftime with a 28-23 lead. …

North Attleboro beat Foxborough, 3-1 at Booth Fields Monday.

Foxborough's season opener was postponed due to rain and their match in Mansfield Friday was suspended due to lightning. Foxborough was leading that contest, 1-0 at halftime. Foxborough travels to Attleboro on Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. match. View scenes from Monday's game in the photo gallery above.
