Foxborough High Sports Scoreboard

The Foxborough High girls' tennis team loses to Hopkinton in Division 2 South finals.

The following are the tournament results for the Foxborough High athletic teams. Girls' Tennis: Foxborough lost to Hopkinton, 3-2, Saturday, in Division 2 South finals at Hopkinton High. The Warriors finished the season with 21-1.  In the semifinals Thursday, Foxborough defeated Scituate, 3-0. Foxborough defeated Sharon, 3-2, Tuesday at the Brown-Bilone Tennis Club in North Easton. Foxborough defeated Bishop Stang, 4-1, Monday at the Brown/Bilore TC in North Easton in the first round. Founders Day Saturday and the 2012 Foxborough High Graduation on Sunday highlight a busy weekend in Foxborough.

  1. The Foxborough High graduation will be Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. It will held inside of the Foxborough High gymnasium if it rains. There will be 202 graduates this year. 2. Foxborough Founders Day Saturday will be looking at Foxborough School Past and Present. An eventful day starts with the pancake breakfast at the American Legion at 7:30 a.m. and ends with the fireworks at night. The parade will be at 10 a.m. 3. It's going to be a busy day sports-wise for Foxborough High athletic teams.

1. The Foxborough High graduation will be Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. 2. Foxborough Founders Day Saturday will be looking at Foxborough School Past and Present. An eventful day starts with the pancake breakfast at the American Legion and ends with the fireworks at night. 3. It will be a busy day sports-wise for the Foxborough High Warriors. The Foxborough High graduation will be Sunday, June 17, at 2 p.m. 4. The Foxborough High girls' tennis team will be playing Bishop Stang in the first round of the Division 2 South tournament today at the Brown/Bilone Tennis Club in North Easton at 3:30 p.m. 5. The Foxborough High National Honor Society will holding a car wash Saturday at town hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  1. The Burrell School will be putting on Seussical Jr. Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 2, at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Tickets are $4. 2. Saturday, the National Honor Society is holding a car wash at town hall for a fundraising event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 3. Both the Foxborough High boys' and girls' tennis teams will be home for the Division 2 South tournament. The boys will host Dedham Friday at 1 p.m., while the girls are the No. 1 seed in Division 1 and drew a bye. They will play either Biship Stang-Fontbonne in the first round Saturday at 3:30 p.m. 4. Foxborough High Girls' Tennis Team Earns No. 1 Seed

Foxborough girls' tennis team is going to play either Bishop Stang or Fontbonne in the Division 2 South Tournament first round Saturday at home at 3:30 p.m.

  We're No. 1. That was the cry of the Foxborough High girls' tennis team after the Division 2 South Tournament pairings were announced. The 18-0 Warriors received a bye into the first round of the tourney where they will play the winner of Friday's Fontbonne (8-8) at Bishop Stand (10-10) winner. It's election day in Foxborough. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ahern School.

  1. Election Day is here with a large turnout expected to vote at the Ahern School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 2. The Foxborough High softball team will be hosting Stoughton in a 3:30 p.m. game, while the girls' tennis team will be hosting the Black Knights. The Foxborough baseball team will be traveling to Stoughton, while the Foxborough girls' lacrosse squad is at Ursuline Academy. 3. The Taylor School Art Show will be Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m. 4. The Foxborough selectmen's meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night at town hall. 5. Today's weather will be mostly sunny with a high of 67 and a low of 51.

The Foxborough tennis teams are holding a car wash fundraiser Saturday at town hall.

  1. Is your car needs a good cleaning? The Foxborough High tennis teams will be washing cars at the town hall from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday as a fundraiser. 2. The Foxborough Department of Public Works will be holding their annual Household Waste Day Collection at the highway garage, 70 Elm St., from 9 a.m. to noon. You must have proof you live in Foxborough. 3. No Foxboro Casino is holding an open house at Union Church, 384 South St., from 9 a.m. to noon.
