FRCS Warns Parents Not to Drop Off/Pick Up Children Along Route 140

Police have taken notice of this behavior and will take action directly with families who continue to misuse private property when picking up or dropping off Foxborough Regional Charter School students.

Citing an ongoing issue with parents dropping off and/or picking up students along Route 140, Foxborough Regional Charter School has issued the following warning: “Do not drop your children off or pick them up at the Mobil Station, across the street in the office complex or anywhere along Route 140,” the FRCS message read. “Not only is this a safety hazard for your children but the police have taken notice and will take action directly with families who continue to misuse private property.” To help address the issue, FRCS has offered ways to alleviate traffic and minimize parents’ time on campus when dropping off or picking up their children. It would also be nice if people would stop running through the flashing red lights of our buses as we pick up/drop off our HS and Ahern students who live across the street from the FRCS. At least 2-3 times a week this happens even when we blow the horn non-stop at them...with a police cruiser sitting in the driveway of the office building!
