TELL US: Maine Earthquake Felt in Foxborough Area - Did You Feel It?
The U.S. Geological Survey's website reported an earthquake in Maine registering a 4.6 magnitude on Richter scale occurred just after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Tremors from the quake were felt in the Foxborough area.
An earthquake in Maine registering a 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale Tuesday evening has been felt throughout the East coast, including here in Foxborough. Tremors have reportedly been felt in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The earthquake, according to United States Geological Survey's website, was centered 3 miles west of Hollis Center, Maine. The location is 52 miles North East of Concord, N.H., according to the USGS.
